The Pastcceria Desir opened in Letojanni in April 2001
Managed by Angelo Di Pietro & his wife Daniela with the collaboration of their father Salvatore "Totuccio" Di Pietro Pastry chef by profession and custodian of ancient recipes confectionery, inherited from his maternal grandfather who owned a pastry shop Panaria in the center of Messina, which was destroyed way back in 1908 by violent earthquake that hit the city. The Desir Pasticceria, in addition to producing typical Sicilian desserts, offers you a vast range of very fine ice cream products such as the famous Granita & Brioches, the delicious ice cream cakes, various flavors of seven veils and delicious semifreddos. All of excellent quality, handcrafted with simple and natural ingredients.
